Project Planner

A fantastic position for a Project Planner, has been opened by my client, a leading supplier into the transport industry, to provide consultancy support to Project Managers/Engineers in the preparation, monitoring and updating of project plans for their projects

You will be reporting to the Head of Project Planning and will:
*Support project managers/engineers in the construction of resourced project plans using Primavera in line with company standards, and the project structure as identified by the project manager.
*Co-ordinate liaison with resource managers to ensure timely allocation and utilisation of staff resources.
*Co-ordinate the production of detailed budgets consistent with resourced project plans.
*Co-ordinate the statusing of project progress.
*Advise on techniques for analysing progress, identifying problem areas, establishing current position and forecasting trends.

Required Skills:
*Strong, demonstrable planning experience delivering large, complex programmes.
*Ideally strong Primavera experience, ideally with p6.
*Excellent Excel Skills
*Experience creating and maintaining projects throughout the entire life cycle.
*Experience in establishing and reporting Earned Value Management Processes
*Experience of working within an engineering or IT development environment.
*Experience of planning within a Waterfall and Agile development environment
