Project Manager Within Cloud Platform and Service Improvement Required

Project Manager within cloud platform and service improvement required by leading telecoms company.
The client is looking for a project manager with required skills for a project within Cloud platform (NIMBUS) and service improvement; regarding new features and services.
Nimbus is Private IT Cloud and THE landing zone (including self-service portal) for all the client's IT systems. Nimbus solution is based on VMware orchestration and virtualization technology and Flexpod infrastructure (Cisco & Netapp).
Target of Scene project is to improve quality and robustness of platform (upgrades and improvements) but also add new services on top of the platform (load balancer and sandbox).
Preferable candidates have experience based on formal education and somewhere between 2-8 years of relevant experience.
As Project manager you will lead the implementation of comprehensive projects and programs in close cooperation all parts of the organization on both group and country levels. The projects they run include system, product and process development and integration, often using external suppliers and aimed for several markets.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the project and decompose the defined project scope to clear project goals.
- Secure resources and level of authority to ensure that the project can be executed and deliver from start to end with the right competence and according to time, budget and functionality
- Steer the projects by using standard procedure eg plan, monitor progress, manage the budget, prepare decision material, attend steering and reference group meeting
- Communicate with project members, stakeholders, customers, suppliers, resource owners, developers, etc.
- Lead the project members, provide feedback and remove obstacles when needed
- Report progress and results
Requirements:
- You have a demonstrated ability to align business & commercial strategy with your project goals
- You have a proven ability to lead others, also across borders, and have a deep interest and competence in coaching others
- You have excellent communication skills towards a large number of stakeholders on all organizational levels
- You have confidence in managing high risk, business critical projects and have a high degree of self-esteem
- You are passionate about delivering on your commitments - to time, budget & quality
- You understand the importance of a structured project approach and how to optimize the project management tools
- Your mindset is global
Experience:
- You hold a PMP, IPMA B or equivalent project management certification
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a project manager and it is an advantage if you have experience from agile development projects
- You have experience either from telecom mobile and fixed network and system development, IT development, business process development - or even better, a combination of these areas
- You have at least a Bachelor's degree and work experience from an international environment
English is the only language required.
