Duration: Initially the end of May 2016 with a likely extension until the end of December 2016

Rate: Excllent daily rate plus all expenses paid by the client

Start date: Ideallly early September

My global Renewables client are urgently looking to secure the services of an experienced Project Manager to join an urgent Onshore site based customer project team to drive the execution and delivery of a Wind Turbine Supply project in Scotland.

The main task of the Project Manager will be to take charge of part of the scope, so a deputy to the Project Director, typically here taking care of daily interactions with the customer (but no strategic or commercial decision), interfaces with authorities and administrations and good execution of the installation and commissioning of the Wind turbines by the technical teams and subcontractors.

Knowledge/Experience required:
* Successful experience in project management, minimum 3 years.
* Used to manage small teams in Matrix-mode
* Used to work in major companies (> several 1,000 employees) with strong processes and reporting expectation and wide organization
* Experience of Wind business from a turbine manufacturer perspective mandatory. Minimum 2 years.

Technical skills/competencies:
* Fluent English mandatory. Good command of another language appreciated, in particular Spanish or French
* Electrical skills.
* Costs control/sales and cash monitoring and optimization
* Project management tools and processes, in particular for costs and schedule control.
* Smooth and efficient interfaces with customer and local authorities.
* Used to work in multi-national teams located in different places
* Knows how to deal successfully with multi-cultural differences.
* Efficient Interfaces with major subcontractors within projects, in particular BOP (civil work and electrical connection to the Grid).
* Ready to work as per delegation of scope and under the management of the PD.
