Project Manager (Testing) - Milan, Italy

KNOWLEDGE ITALIAN(FLUENT) IS MANDATORY FOR THIS ROLE.

REQUIRED PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILL:

- Conceptual awareness of core project management techniques and some practical experience
- Practicing Project manager who has either completed formal course in project management techniques, behavioural skills, have some team handling experience or demonstrated sufficient experience in projects handled and/or has cleared suitable internal assessments
- Will be responsible for medium sized projects or projects of moderate criticality (defined by internal and customer context) and be able to handle projects with varying scope and conflict with some level of supervision and guidance from line/practice manager
- Will be responsible for delivering the project using organization project management/execution tools to effort, cost, schedule and quality
- Will be responsible for planning, tracking, reporting (internal and external) project performance (status and progress) on a periodic basis
- Will be able to evolve risk mitigation and contingency plans and be able to work with internal supervision/guidance to manage internal and external conflicts

REQUIRED TEST PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS:

- Manages a team that debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.
- Oversees the development and execution of software test plans
- Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
- Ensures documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
- Analyzes test results tonsure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems
- Supervises the day to day work of lower level individual contributors.
- Sets own work schedule for the project team to meet established objectives.
- Applies own judgment to independently determine course of action, which is then executed through a team independently post review.
- Works on developing people management skills Responsible for complete end to end project management for the assigned project which includes project planning, delivery, client interaction, troubleshooting and tracking utilization for the team.
- Includes application of knowledge to practical issues often relating to more than one functional area has a significant impact on a small department/function.

REQUIRED PEOPLE MANAGEMENT SKILLS:

- The role manages work activities of team through lower level supervisors/individual contributors.
- Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback to employees and handling team work allocations
- Ability to adapt to various communication styles and interpret non-routine and conflicting information.
- Knowledge of relevant policies & procedures, determines a course of action based on these guidelines.
- Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations.
- May consult with senior management
