Project Manager (Technical Delivery) (Q8)

A 6 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Technical Delivery) to join this National Top-50 National Organisation, based in Brisbane's CBD.

The Project Manager will be required to under full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of technical work packages, ensuring that appropriate project, quality and budgets are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL BE AS FOLLOWS;

- Manage (monitor and control) the implementation of project activities of contractors, consultants, and internal service providers in relation to progress, budget and work quality to ensure they are completed to required standards, schedule, and within project and financial constraints.
- Solve problems, facilitate meetings, lead planning sessions, and identify and manage inter-dependencies.
- Provide written and oral status reports to senior staff.
- Coordinate project close out activities including transfer of assets, conducting of project audit and review and the preparation of final project reports for Management.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS;

- High level of skill in managing the successful implementation of concurrent work streams within a multidisciplinary project management environment in accordance with recognised best practice project management methods.
- Demonstrated experience and exposure to major project management activities including thorough knowledge of project management methodologies, principles and practices.
- Significant experience mobilising and managing small to medium sized project teams with particular focus on quality, planning, reporting, prioritisation and budgeting.
- High level of interpersonal and influencing skills including consultation, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Prince2 Foundation Certification (preferred) or other formal Project Management accreditation;
- Microsoft Project experience
