Project Manager - Substations

My client are a nationally recognised consultancy within the Energy sector. Specialising in Transmission and Distribution projects within power generation and renewables they are expanding their teams across the country.

They now have a requirement for an excellent Project Manager to join the company and work on Network Services projects.

The role will involve:

- Manage multiple/major projects
- Ensure project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H. etc.
- Prepare project safety and CDM plans and Risk Assessments as part of overall programme
- Take overview of projects to be completed and allocate resources accordingly
- Manage and review performance of staff reporting to you and identify training needs
- Ensure extra works are costed and invoiced in accordance with the contract (currently NEC3)

The ideal candidate will be able to boast the following:
- Electrical engineering qualification
- Project Management experience
- Substation Experience
- Good people management skills.
- Computer literate - skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project essential, Primavera preferred
- Knowledge of CDM
- Commercial awareness

This is a Permanent role based in the South East offering a competitive salary plus car.
