Project Manager - Software Domain Establishment Project

Project Manager required for a 6 month Software Domain Establishment project within the banking sector, based in Copenhagen (with some travel).

In the role of Project Manager you will be required to organise and run a project where the customer is to begin (and evaluate) the establishment of a software domain, with a focus on getting a better overview of the IT complexity (primarily interfaces and dependencies). The assignment will involve 50% organisational development and 50% technical/architecture.

As the Project Manager the most important elements in the assignment are:

- Planning and driving project activities across 4 countries and 6 teams.
- Fast tracking where a pilot service is to be specified and developed
- Establishing As-IS documentation and creating a target picture for the domains interfaces
- Evaluating new ways of working between project organisation and line organisation.
- Securing continuous and structured reflection and evaluation of on-going activities.

The ideal candidate for the role of Project Manager should have:

- Previous experience of international projects
- Previous experience as a Project Manager working across multiple countries and teams
- Willingness to be a sparring partner for the stakeholder and the domain responsible manager.
- An interest in being part of a somewhat unconventional project.
- Preferably PMI (PMP) or IPMA (level B) certified or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel if required
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (or Danish/Swedish/Norwegian)
