Project Manager - Software Development - Federal Government Contract

A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY based in CANBERRA is currently in search of an experienced PROJECT MANAGER for a contract through to 30 JUNE 2013, with view to extend.

The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:

- Solid Project Management experience, with relevant qualifications and/or certifications (PRINCE2 preferred).
- Experience managing Software Development projects, with knowledge of Software Development techniques and tools and experience with agile/iterative and waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to successfully deliver projects with a process improvement and information management focus.
- Project Management experience in at least one of the following areas would be desirable:
- SAP Human Resources
- SAP Financial Management
- Data Warehousing
- Business Intelligence
- Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
