Project Manager (SDLC) - 12 Month Contract

A Project Manager is required for a 12 month contract at a Docklands based organisation. This role offers a Project Manager the opportunity to take the next step in their career toward delivering medium to large size business critical projects.

To be successful in this role, the Project Manager must have delivered multiple projects across the entire software development life cycle. This role also requires a Project Manager with excellent knowledge of MS Project and the ability to manage a project plan using MS Project.

As this is an initial 12 month contract, this role is the perfect opportunity for someone in a permanent position to make the leap into contracting. KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- 3 - 5 years project management experience
- Must have proven experience in the end-to-end delivery of software projects
- Experience managing project financials and prior experience in setting up budgets
- Project status reporting experience
- The ability to manage the project plan using MS Project
- Experience identifying scope issues and communicating these to the appropriate Business Leads and Programme Management teams
- Previous experience holding project and steering committee meetings
- Initiate any change requests and ensure that the team follows correct change control processes
- Previous experience managing the issues and risk log
- Knowledge of project management methodologies - Prince2, PMP.
