Project Manager (Scrum/Utilities)

My client, a leading utilities company, is looking for a Project Manager for an initial 3 month contract starting in January 2014. The role will be based in Nottingham.

SCRUM experience along with previous utilities experience is highly desirable.

The Project Manager will manage the end to end delivery of complex change projects or programmes of work into the Energy Solutions business. THE JOB HOLDER MANAGES CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAMS OF VARYING SIZE TO DELIVER CHANGES THAT IMPACT THE BUSINESS OPERATION. Will have responsibility for delivery of BUSINESS AND IT CHANGE PROJECTS.

KEY REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

- All the core PM skills eg Prince 2 plus
- Ability to dealing with senior stakeholders on face to face basis
- Ability to quickly grasp the detail of complex business processes
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Ability to motivate and drive a technical delivery team and deal with technical issues
- Ability to co-ordinate and drive business readiness activities by various business representatives
- Ability to operate in a large complex environment
- UTILITIES experience an advantage
- Use of SCRUM as well as waterfall and iterative development approaches an advantage
