KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

The Defence College of Technical Training Risk and Benefits manager is a member of the College Portfolio Office which is responsible for managing the change programmes and projects and business-as usual change activities. This post reports directly to the head of the Portfolio Office and is responsible for developing the business goverenance and process which appertain to risk and benefit management and analysising and reporting the college risks and benefits..

The Defence College of Technical Training Risks and Benefits manager is to;

- Develop and maintain the College Risk and Issue Management Strategy together with, recommendations for escalation and de-escalation procedures across the entire Portfolio.
- Conduct risk identification and risk management workshops, identifying risk owners and managers, ensuring risks are prioritised; their PTC impact assessed and communicated to appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitoring of mitigations and fallback plans; reporting, recommending actions and considerations to the Executive Board.
- Develop and maintain the Benefits Management Strategy to include the measurement framework and Benefits Realisation Plan.
- Develop the risk and benefit management business processes and templates.
- Develop and maintain the business benefits map and benefit review process.
- Conduct benefit and dis-benefit realisation reviews, during and post project/programme closure, in accordance with the Benefits Realisation Plan.
- Provide benefit management advice to sub- business units.
- Consolidate benefit and risk management information from the portfolio, providing appropriate reports to the management.
