Project Manager - R & D, Modems

For our customer, a multinational R&D company, we are currently searching for an R&D Project Manager for a project in Munich

PROJECT START: asap

PROJECT DURATION: 1 year plus

LOCATION: Munich

TASK DESCRIPTION:

- System project management tasks for modem platform development projects
- Improvement projects for R&D project KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and processes
- Leading cross-functional project teams, coaching component leads and functional project managers in preparation of work package
- Planning of project schedule, budget and resource needs in synchronization with component leads, functional project managers and functional head schedules and managing for on-time deliveries
- Tracking and reporting of project status
- Address legal requirements and audits if needed
- Support in customer interaction if neededREQUIRED SKILLS:
- experience in R&D projects essential (eg semiconductors, telecommunications, or automotive)
- previous experience in multinational project environments
- experience in telecommunications projects
- Hardware knowledge (PMU, PCU, Chip)
- Experience with development of smartphones beneficial
- fluent English, German advantageous but not a must
