Project Manager - Product Management

PROJECT MANAGER - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - BASED IN CHESTER

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join their Transformation Programme to be based in their offices on Chester Business Park.

Overview:

This role is responsible for the Product Management and Marketing project within the Merlin Programme (Core processing platform and Business Transformation programme). End to end project management for the below functions including all technical and business process changes required to ensure the processes ad procedures are improved and simplified where possible.

Functions:
*Product set up and Hierarchy configuration
*Payment Allocation
*Interest Calculation and Fees
*Minimum Payment calculation
*Scheme Management
*Rewards/Loyalty Programme

Key skills for a Project Manager:

*Experience in leading programmes/project teams to translate strategies into deliverables
*Proven experience of influencing across a Matrix environment
*Good budget and expense management skills
*Demonstrable experience of Product and Pricing Configuration and set up
*Certified Project Manager (PMP and/or Prince2)
*Financial Services industry experience and/or blue chip industry experience.

Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

*Deliver and manage the Product Management and Marketing project within the Merlin Programme including the above functions.
*Lead cross functional project teams and work-stream leads working on the Product Management and Pricing project
*Manage stakeholder relationships including engagement with key contacts in MBNA.
*Financial management responsibility
*Identify key risks and issues and manage these through to resolution
*Ensure all Merlin Programme standards and processes are adhered to.
