Project Manager (PMP)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a project. Accountable for contributing to the project initiation, planning and control for projects related to complex components, subsystems or processes.
- Performs complex project planning, identifies critical issues, and drives the project team to resolve gaps and problems.
- Work directly with different business units, suppliers, customers and/or other teams.
- Provides input for staffing and support of programs and creates accurate and detailed schedules.
- Plan and lead program and project planning sessions.
- Leading a large diverse program or project planning session.
- Preparation and pre-work for the session as well as follow up and action ownership.
- Mentor/coach the leadership team and address leadership issues one-on-one with senior divisional and department management.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Project Management experience with minimum 1 year experience in a project planning role using Critical Path Methodology (CPM) with a Project Scheduling Software Tool (eg, Primavera, MS Project)
- Professional Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate information in a concise and accurate manner
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors Degree in Business or Technical Field (IT, Engineering)
- Primavera experience
- Project Meeting Facilitation in corporate environment.
- The Customer's Process/Work Experience (Product Development, Operations, 6-Sigma, etc.)
- Project cost management experience
- Resource loading/portfolio resource management experience
- Primavera Database Administration
- Project Management Professional (PMP or CAPM ) Certification
