SUMMARY:

Our client is a global leader focused on the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery, and supports more productive farming through a full line of tractors, combines, hay tools, sprayers, forage equipment, tillage, implements, grain storage and protein production systems, as well as related replacement parts. Our client's products are distributed globally through 3,150 independent dealers and distributors in more than 140 countries worldwide.

As a key member of the PMO team and as part of modern team setting architecture, data and PMO direction and standards this is a project management level role for an individual who can work comfortably as a subject matter expert. The IT Project Manager, PMO Methodology and Process is responsible for leading the activities of functional project teams to deliver timely solutions that are aligned with the company's strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Develops/maintains an understanding of the company's PMO methodology and processes that support it
-Develop and maintain project plans and supporting documentation which track progress against project deliverables, tasks and activities
-Facilitate regularly scheduled project reviews with the project sponsor and project stakeholders to provide management visibility to the status of the project
-Ensure projects are kept within scope, delivered on time and within budget
-Exceptions or deviations from plan are documented and agreed to by business and IT owners and sponsors
-Ensure documented benefits are realized
-Adhere to the company's quality standards by performing responsibilities in compliance with Change Management and Project Management Policies, Guidelines and Procedures
-Responsible for translating PMO methodology into process specifications and models
-Influences Portfolio and Project Managers partners to align with the PMO process and methodology
-Prepares high level activity and progress reports for Senior Leadership
-Own and define methodology for ASAP, AGILE and Waterfall projects
-Become the subject matter expert for methodology and related processes
-Communicate and share processes and methodology information to projects and IT leadership
-Document in Wiki and PowerPoint format all methodology and process related information in easy to understand way
-Own, create and streamline existing deliverable templates that projects will use for methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Specific knowledge in more than one of the following functional domain areas:
-Solid understanding and experience of defining processes and standards for projects to follow
-Experience with ASAP, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, PMO experience preferred
-Can create and govern processes for methodology & portfolio management
-Map process to methodologies for projects to understand
-Experienced in working with business figures to understand business needs
-Experience translating business requirements and needs into IT artifacts
-Proven understanding of agile process development and design issues and their solutions
-Minimum BS or equivalent and related experience
-Project management experience
-Exposure or Experience in an environment where SAP has been deployed
-Able to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents
-Experience in AGILE Methodology
-ASAP experience
