Project Manager Non Tech

Our hugely popular client's Search Relevance Infrastructure team is looking for a strong PROGRAM MANAGER with proven ability to interface with highly technical customers, assemble complex technical and analytical information, and present it to audiences across the organization. Top tier candidates for this position will be able to manage multiple simultaneous projects and their capacity needs while delivering them on schedule and within budget constraints. To be truly successful in this role, a candidate will manage requests and issues from a dozen or more Relevance feature teams across the world and help create a balanced and prioritized capacity allocation model for each release in the fiscal year. In addition to the entire Capacity Management process, the role will also require the candidate to implement process improvements, design and drive the improvements by working with the development team to provide resource usage, tracking and ROI analysis tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage hardware and service resource requests
- Help design, track, and enforce usage quotas
- Create hardware and service utilization projections
- Design and drive improvements to tools that make the organization successful

KEY SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Business Intelligence tools and software (MS Office suite, Excel, Pivoting, reporting services, SharePoint, TFS, etc.)
- Proactive and diligent team-player attitude along with strong drive for results
- Track record of successful cross-group collaboration and leadership
- Excellent communication skills

PREFERRED:

- Experience working with online/distributed systems
- Experience creating hardware and service capacity projections
- Working knowledge of SQL and SSRS a plus

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
