3.5-MONTH CONTRACT POSITION

JOB TITLE: Project Manager - Medical Billing/Claims

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to purchasers, contracted providers and vendors.
- Coordinates and assists manager(s) with project plans.
- Coordinates and prepares materials for project meetings.
- Creates and prepares reports regarding project status and distributes to appropriate team members.
- Provides recommendations regarding project efficiencies and process improvements.
- Assists with identifying possible resources, internal and external.
- Acts as primary contact for project team.
- Creates and distributes project materials as needed.
- Interfaces with data analysts for data needs and conducts ad hoc research.
- Assists with documentation of project process and outcomes.
- May identify industry trends relevant to project area.

TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Project Coordination duties for the department
- scheduling all team meetings
- creating all reports for the team pulling data from Excel/Access
- creating PowerPoint Presentations
- Providing status reports/updates
- Management of deliverables

REQUIREMENTS:

- BA/BS
- Minimum 3+ years' of direct relevant experience
- Proven advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- must be able to pull data from different Excel-based reports and create PowerPoint presentations
- working knowledge of Access would be very beneficial
