PROJECT MANAGER - MDM needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage the day-to-day activities of a large-scale MDM project(s) including scope, budget and project dependencies; specifically manage daily activities of the MDM project team(s) to deliver MDM Solutions that adhere to MDM best practices & standards.
- Prioritize project activities and ensure that client drivers and priorities are clearly understood and addressed.
- Works closely with customers and stakeholders to capture, analyze and document business and functional requirements.
- Manage MDM projects through analysis, design, and build, across cross functional resource teams.
- Actively track, identify, mitigate and minimize project risks
- Track and monitor project issues to be resolved openly and quickly. Escalate to the appropriate management level when necessary
- Maintain overall project schedule and the execution & delivery of expected project milestones
- Manage communications, issue resolution, resource & project implementation and testing plans, training plans and successful transition to support and maintenance teams.
- Manage project budget by monitoring on a weekly basis, forecasting accurately and making adjustments where needed.
- Provide weekly reporting on project progress, budget, schedule & milestones, issues & risks
- Actively lead, motivate, and challenge cross-functional teams
- Facilitate project meetings with a published agenda and follows up with meeting minutes, actions, and decisions.
- Manage third-party partner and/or vendor relationships, as necessary
- Develop relationships with key project stakeholders and ensure appropriate level of participation throughout project life cycle
- Manage daily activities of a MDM project team(s) to deliver MDM Solutions, to perform data analysis, to expand MDM application architecture through new Project development.
- Establish metadata management, data catalogs, data standards, and best practices for MDM data working closely with enterprise architects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree with 10 plus years of IT experience
- Five (5) plus years of project management experience
- Five (5) plus years experience with MDM project execution
- Five (5) plus years of relevant experience in data management and/or business analysis for enterprise wide data warehouse and data management platforms like master data management
- Has experience managing multiple projects under the direction of a Project Management Office
- Able to articulate key project management factors & techniques
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Experience operating within a validated systems environment and working in a regulated industry (Biotech or Pharmaceutical Industry preferred)
- PMI PMP Certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in MS Project Professional 2010, MS Project Server 2010 and SharePoint 2010
- Experience with the Informatica MDM Tool Set, including EMI, IDQ & IDD modules.
