Project Manager Master Data Management

Proteus Europe is searching for a Project Manager Master Data Management for our client based in the East Flanders Region of Belgium

Your New role:-

Framework of the provision
Within the firm - Flat Products CMO, the department - Business Processes and Systems- (BPS) is a Business organization which is responsible for the implementation of business processes and the interface management between operational Business stakeholders and IT providers.
BPS main stakeholders are the Business owners of the different CMO processes, the end users (Sales Agencies and Order Management Platforms), the Business Divisions as the plants within the Flat Europe scope.
This tender is issued by IT Europe on behalf of the BPS department.

The tender is issued to reinforce the BPS teams with a Project Manager to manage the Master Data Management project to support:
o Global MDM architecture, MDM processes and governance model
o New needs implementation from projects in various environments (SAP, Web, SalesForce, Legacy)
o Redesign of MDM processes according to model decisions
Object of provision

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project:
o Global coordination with other projects and IT architects
o Manage the full project cycle from study to roll out

More specifically

o Assess MDM processes with proposed solutions (ie SAP MDG) and challenge possible additional solutions/architecture.
o Build and manage MDM templates with action plan
o Propose a road map according to project priorities
o The Project Manager is integrated in the BPS.
o The main stakeholders are BPS project teams and IT Europe.

The main missions are:

o In close coordination with IT architects, propose a global MDM architecture, MDM processes and governance model
o Facilitate other projects implementations with respect to business deadlines
o Be content-oriented: capture the business needs regarding MDM (content and process) to achieve implementation:
o Build and manage templates with action plan: Master Data harmonization, Documentations, Improve/Strengthen MDM processes
o Implement MDM processes and governance according to the road map
o Manage the project team by coordinating and supporting Functional Managers for MDM tools knowledge and model implementation
o Support and train the business on the most efficient usage of new MDM tools

o Ability to understand Business needs
o Team player, stakeholder-oriented, ability to understand and adapt to a complex and changing environment, ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
o Proactive, creative, autonomous, problem-solving oriented, ability to work in a virtual team.

Experience

o Significant experience with complex projects
o Significant experience with MDM/MDG concepts and tools (SAP MDG knowledge is a plus)
