Project Manager Job

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER is needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Reporting into the Program Management Office within the Drug Delivery Organization, this role will lead cross-functional teams from multiple sites, and external partners, to develop innovative rug delivery devices that are integrated with biologics to create combination drug/device products.
- Lead medical device development programs utilizing structured, systematic methodologies to meet cost and schedule objectives.
- Generate and manage detailed integrated master program plan and schedule.
- Negotiate and resolve conflicts and drive consensus among team/functional members to accomplish project and business goals.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to core team members and provide feedback to functional leaders regarding team member's performance, training needs and ability to perform assigned tasks
- 20% TRAVEL DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Doctorate degree & two (2) years of Project Management experience or Master's degree & six (6) years of Project Management experience or Bachelor's degree or & eight (8) years of Project Management experience or Associate's degree & 10 years of Project Management experience or High school diploma/GED & 12 years of Project
- Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in an engineering discipline and experience developing innovative drug delivery devices
- Six (6) plus years as a program manager leading cross-functional program teams
- Successful track record of developing commercially viable medical/pharmaceutical products from concept to commercialization
- Deep understanding of and experience with disciplined product development processes (phase/gate product development method)
- Experience developing products that are manufactured at high volumes using automated and semi-automated manufacturing processes
- Successful working with contract development firms and contract manufacturers
- Experience building complex schedules utilizing sub-schedule integration structure with performing critical path analysis
- History as a program manager on commercialized FDA-approved 510(k) or PMA-approved medical devices
- Experience with planning and composing documents for FDA submissions and CE marked medical devices
- Proven ability to manage in a highly fluid, interactive, matrixed environment
- Experienced with managing programs with annual budgets exceeding $10M
- Certification in Project Management
