Project Manager - IR Derivatives - Trade Reconciliations

PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF INTEREST RATE DERIVATIVES FROM A Front Office IT AREA IS ESSENTIAL - PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE.

A leading Tier 1 Investment Bank seeks a Project Manager with strong knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives applied within the Front Office IT Investment Banking space (these are essential skills for the position - please only apply if you have them) and you will also ideally have exposure to the SDLC and Reconciliations processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that has seen phenomenal growth in the Interest Rate Derivatives space over the last few years. You will join an established Front Office IT team (who all have Interest Rate Derivatives knowledge) to help assist in managing the Front Office trade database which will mean you are specifically focusing on projects of a Trade Reconciliations and Regulatory nature.

Your position will involve liaising with a range of stakeholders from the Front Office through to the Reconciliation space across the bank - this is where your Interest Rate Derivatives knowledge will be drawn upon. You will also be expected to work closely with BA's, as well as system users across the Front Office, manage multiple concurrent projects and undertake other general Project Management duties.

The initial contract will run for 6 months, however, because of the overall size of the programme and what needs to be achieved, this is very likely to be extended.

- Front Office IT experience
- Extensive, recent Investment Banking experience

Desirable

- Reconciliations understanding
- SDLC experience
- Good exposure to MS Excel and SQL
- Regulatory experience - for example Dodd Frank or EMIR
