SYNOPSIS:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead their team of professionals in the IT infrastructure industry. The successful candidate will travel and work in Ghana for the duration of the contract period, where they will be responsible for the successful completion and implementation of the specified project.
SKILLS:
- A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous, however, related work experience is more beneficial than qualifications
- Have managed major relocation of equipment, sequenced shut and dependent bring up to new location
- Contingency planning
- Have operated in a high pressure environments and demonstrated delivery in a similar role
- Experience in dealing with all races and levels of experience
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- New System integration and or BA skills advantageous
- At least 10 years in related fields
- 100% self-motivated operator: no-one under 38 years need apply
- Managing multiple sub projects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The individual will have to aggressively manage an infrastructure move and relocation project
- Develop and maintain the project plan
- Manage weaker client resources for technical delivery
- The successful candidate will clearly understand and have implemented fairly complex infrastructure projects in the past, with the following elements:
- Networks (Wide and Local)
- Connectivity
- Application and Database operation
- Physical Server Hardware
- Operational workflow and processes in a banking environment
CONTRACT INFORMATION:
- Client: Infrastructure and IT consultancy
- 12 weeks - 3-4 weeks on - 1 week off
- Flights accommodation and allowances paid
