Project Manager in the Antwerp area

On behalf of our prestigious customer we are looking for a Project Manage for a ongoing, long term project. The main aim will be to ensure smooth application migrations from the existing infrastructure towards a new SDDC (software defined data centre) using On-Premise and Virtual Private Cloud solutions.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:

- Primary contact for Technical Applications Owners within EMEA region
- Support Technical Application Owners in rehosting their applications in an SDDC (Software Defined Data Center)
- Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure commitment dates and project deliverables are met
- Deliver project within requested timeframe
- Maintain detailed project status and identify potential issues or bottlenecks of any kind.
- Provide project status reviews to the regional Program Lead

Requirements:

- Project Management experience in an international and multicultural environment
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management in a large enterprise
- Computer infrastructure operations or deployment background (Servers, operating systems, databases, software components, etc)
- Able to solve technical problems (Windows, Linux, Oracle, MSSQL)
- Familiar with server virtualization (VMWare, AWS) and SDDC (Software Defined Data Center)
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Data capture and visualization skills (reporting)
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
