Project Manager - Halifax - Retail Banking - Up to £395 per day

PROJECT MANAGER - HALIFAX - RETAIL BANKING - UP TO £395 PER DAY

A LEADING UK RETAIL BANK REQUIRES A NUMBER OF PROJECT MANAGERS TO JOIN A MAJOR ACCOUNT SWITCHING PROGRAMME BASED IN HALIFAX.

THIS IS A BUSINESS CHANGE ROLE AND NOT A TECHNICAL/IT POSITION

Working on a programme to deliver a 7 day current account switching process, you will assist in capture and delivery of requirements across multiple business units and channels.

KEY DELIVERABLES WILL INCLUDE:

- To ensure a common understanding of the business needs and the project deliverables.
- Co-ordinate and/or contribute to the design, development and specification of new/revised processes and systems, documentation, training materials, etc
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all project deliverables
- Develop and maintains effective working relationships with appropriate colleagues in own and other business units, ensuring key stakeholders are identified and effectively managed
- Aid with the creation of project plans. Ensure that business and IT plans align in conjunction with the IT Project Manager
- Manage, track and mitigate allocated risks and issues, ensuring that they remain fit for purpose throughout the project, spotting opportunities for improvement

TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL BE AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER FROM A FINANCIAL SERVICES BACKGROUND, IDEALLY RETAIL BANKING. EXPERIENCE OF TRAINING AND COMMUNICATIONS WOULD BE HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS. EXPERIENCE OF STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT, PLANNING AND EXCELLENT ALL ROUND PROJECT GOVERNANCE SKILLS ARE ALSO A MUST.
