Project Manager (FR/NL)

Our client is looking for a Fluent Bilingual (FR/NL) Project manager for a 12 Month contract beginning in January, working in a finance sector. Candidate must be flexible enough to travel between Brussels and Antwerp.

Tasks

o You are assigned to the central organization and are responsible for managing the project portfolio and project management - end to end-
o You are responsible for project monitoring and IT Business - end to end-, in close collaboration with the different directions
o You ensure that the governance in place works for projects assigned to you
o You facilitate tracking and reporting workload teams identified as - critical resources-
o You contribute to the preparation of arbitration scenarios in risk anticipation
o You help facilitate the decision making process in cases of resource or timing conflicts
o You update the status of your projects in the Project/Portfolio Management tools
o Within the project management core team, you will contribute to the improvement & tools and project management methods
o For the project portfolio management core team you provide information necessary to the decision-making process

Profile

o You have at least a Master's degree (economics, science, IT, ...)
o You have acquired between 5 and 10 years of experience in managing projects, programs and portfolios. Experience in the insurance industry is an asset
o You have very good analytical skills and you are able to assimilate the details while having a helicopter view.
o You have good organizational skills
o You are solution oriented and you can easily play the role of mediator.
o You are assertive, persuasive easily excited and you know your surroundings
o You have a good knowledge of French and Dutch.
o You master MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint applications, and you have the knowledge and experience of project management methodologies like Prince2, Scrum/Agile
