PROJECT MANAGER FOR DWH MIGRATION

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER FOR DWH MIGRATION. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English and German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Leading a highly motivated and senior core team
- Co-ordinate within DWH community, meeting with the various DWH and BI stakeholders within in the bank
- Spokesperson for application development and entry window for Technical IT
- Complex and challenging DWH platform migration project
- Expertise in the DWH and BI area
- Co-ordinate 150 applications to migrate onto the new platform including DWH "framework" updates
- Creation and Documentation of project documents incl. plan, status reports, etc.
- Status reports to higher management, business and stakeholders
- Leading project team and meetings
- Consult application representatives in their migration
- Ensure common standards, processes and tools are adopted
- High dedication to quality of his/her deliverables

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Seniority in project management
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of Data Warehouse and Oracle Architecture
- Experience with ETL tools and Unix
- Fluency in German and English
