Project Manager - Fixed term Contract 3-6 Months

Capita Life and Pensions division are looking for an established Project Manager to join our team in Glasgow.

Capita is the UK market leader in life and pensions administration.

The purpose of the role of Project Manager is to deliver in a controlled manner projects or workstreams within an agreed time, cost and quality parameters, ensuring all objectives and benefits are delivered.

Duties include:
* Plan the project, agree the plan with the relevant governance bodies and prepare detailed plans for each stage
* Execute the plan, monitoring progress and taking the necessary corrective actions.
* Manage the project and project team on a day-to-day basis.
* Build, coach and motivate the team
* Risk & issue management & resolution
* Effective Stakeholder management (including the client where appropriate)
* Manage and control the project budget ensuring all expenditure, commitments and payments are properly authorised in accordance with delegated authority requirements

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

* Projects delivered within agreed budget tolerance
* Projects delivered to agreed timescales
* Implementation of all agreed deliverables
* Quality measures achieved

* Effective use of project management tools and techniques

* Experience of managing staff either directly or within a project environment
