Project Manager (Financial Services/Pensions)

Financial Services client, based in Wiltshire wishes to appoint a seasoned Project Management with a track record of delivering business side projects within the financial services sector.

The back drop to this role are changes that are taking place in the pensions industry ie regulations that determine when and how consumers are able to draw upon their pension. Our client is developing tools that allow suitable advice to be given to consumers around this subject and to be able to make informed choices.

As a Project Manager you will bridge the gap between between different areas of the business and manage the expectations of these different parties. This will include both internal business teams and external technical/development partners. You will also work closely with senior internal stakeholders to help roll out the tools described above paying close attention to business readiness plans and ensuring that all mechanisms are in place to ensure the eventual products are fit for purpose.

This is a business focused PM role. It does not require a Project Managers who is led by technology. Personal characteristics should include confident in dealing with senior/board level members of staff, a logic and pragmatic approach and a direct but professional communications style.

You will also have experience of delivering pensions side projects and able to demonstrate a knowledge of regulatory changes in this industry. It is likely that you will have in excess of 5 years commercial experience in this field.
