Project Manager (Engineering) Burnley - £45,000

Huxley Associates and one of the UK's leading names in High End / High Value Products are looking to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis, owing to succession planning within the organisation and also as to allow for key strategic delivery of 2013 / 14 business objectives.

Based near Burnley and managing a Projects Team consisting of 3 Project Managers; 2 Project Planners & 3 Project Assistants, the Project Manager should have previous experience of managing / mentoring other project managers.

Possessing previous experience of successfully driving projects in a manufacturing / engineering / production environment, the Project Manager should have previous experience in:

- Managing projects from requirements capture all the way through to delivery
- Managing multiple projects at any one time, of varying size (£100k - £3m)
- Delivering projects to time, cost & quality.

In addition, the Project Manager should also have experience of implementing projects methodology (ie Risk Management; Project Management Tools etc) to fit within an SME Environment as this Project Management role is integral to the strategic & continued growth of the company and a key emphasis of this role is on creating a project infrastructure that allows for the effective delivery of projects

The Project Manager needs to be an articulate and effective communicator, capable of working with and influencing stakeholders at all levels (on both an internal and external basis) and have previous experience of project delivery in a customer facing environment, as well as being a "Project Driver" and someone ho can lead the Projects Team and be a solutions provider.
