Project Manager - Development

A Leading Technology Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Development for a 6 month contract in Alpharetta, GA. Our client is looking for a candidate who has worked on projects of various sizes and complexities. Typical projects will engage 4-5 engineering groups, with each group having their own QA. This is Mostly waterfall methodology, some hybrid, and some more Agile type development. The Project Manager will need to be flexible and have the ability to work with multiple teams. This person will also need to have the soft skills to motivate key team members. 7+ years of Software Development Project Management, including some Web Development is required. Must do well and thrive working with diverse team. Experience in MS Office Suite, Project, SharePoint, and Visio is also required.

- Sr. Project Manager working on Software Development Projects
- 6+ month contract. They can only commit to 6 months, but will likely extend.
- This is a replacement position for a contract PM who converted to perm into another division/group at LexisNexis
- Almost all new development projects
- Requirements are completed by the internal business group. The requirements are good and the process is smooth.
- Be part of an internal Engineering Project Management group
- Projects range from Web Development to Back End development
- Work with engineering team (Developers) to develop time frames and schedules
- Mostly waterfall methodology, some hybrid, and some more Agile type development
- Some flexibility with work hours, but need to be with team during core hours.
- Requirements are 7+ years of Software Development Project Management including some Web Development PM, strong experience working with large development teams, must do well and thrive working with diverse teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are very important!
