Project Manager - Defence

PROJECT MANAGER - is Contract role working in BRISTOL: ABBEY WOOD, for 4 MONTHS INITIALLY. We are looking for Project Manager for our Defence sector client.

Location: South West: Bristol: Abbey Wood

Duration: 4 month's initially

THE POST HOLDER WILL:

- Generate documentation including internal business agreements, PM plans, risk plans, benefits realisation plans, technical readiness plans, project schedules and statements of work;
- work with DE
- liaise with other DE
- liaise with DEFENCE CLIENT' Front Line Commands to obtain agreement of documentation and resolve problems;
- liaise with other disciplines within the SACC Delivery Team (DT), including commercial, financial, safety and ILS;
- help the project team to identify, quantify and manage risks and opportunities;
- transfer knowledge and experienced gained to other members of the SACC DT.

KEY TASK & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- The post holder will be based at Abbey Wood but will be required to undertake regular travel within the UK. Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they have competence in a broad range of project management duties.
- A sound knowledge of project management and its component parts. Stakeholder management skills are desirable as well as knowledge about finances.
- It would help if the person had an understanding of working with the military.
