This is a 12 month Contract opportunity.

Overview

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with COTS experience.

Qualifications

Specific Skills and Qualifications

- 10+ years of overall Project Management experience
- Project Management experience working on larger sized project initiatives
- It would be very beneficial to have some Upstream experience and knowledge
- Experience delivering COTS or custom development projects
- Formal training and/or Project Management designation as well as knowledge of Project Management best practices i) A University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- The proven ability to demonstrate experience in such areas as: i) project scope; ii) vendor management iii) stakeholder management; iv) large project budgets v) application/technology/COTS implementation
- Strong facilitation skills (ability to herd cats and facilitate different teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team player who is also able to coach, motivate and manage a project team(s)
- Honesty and integrity
- A proven ability to deal with politics, policy/policy changes, conflict, stress, etc
