Project Manager/Content Editor

Duties include:

- Primary Project Manager, editor and quality controller for the creation of brief factual summaries of restaurants, nightlife, shops, hotels and attractions in French
- Develop a deep understanding of the editorial requirements and style in English, and localise the briefing documents into French
- Assist in assessing candidates for writer roles, and help train those who are successful.
- Quality control and edit the writers' work to ensure the published summaries are factually, grammatically and stylistically right every time
- Ad-hoc duties as required 

Requirements:

- French up to fluent level speaker, able to write and edit in French to an extremely high standard
- Speak fluent English, able to understand and write in English to a high standard
- Have project management experience
- Good people-management skills

We are looking for a project manager, editor and quality controller to work with one of our Clients.  The ideal candidate will speak fluent native French and English to and extremely high standard, will be quick to pick up unfamiliar technology and have extensive writing and copy editing experience (ideally in the travel or local field) as well as experience translating and localising between French and English as well as having knowledge of at least some of the relevant verticals (restaurants, nightlife, shops, hotels and attractions) in Paris, as well as wide-ranging writer contacts in those areas all over France.
