Project Manager - Contact Centre/Site Build (S17)

My client has an immediate need for an experience Project Manager to join their team.

This role requires someone with extensive experience in project managing site build and construction focused projects. You will manage a variety of contractors form engineering, builders, architects and vendors so a strong background and knowledge within construction is required.

You will need to travel between their Newcastle and Parramatta Contact Centres for this role with most of your week spent in Newcastle. For the right candidate they will provide accommodation while working in Newcastle, if yuo are not Newcastoe based.

THERE ARE TWO KEY DELIVERABLES TO THIS ROLE:

- Their Newcastle Contact Centre requires a complete refurbish in order to expand agent capacity.
- In addition to this, your role will also be accountable for successfully delivering several business related projects (non-property/non-construction related) for their Parramatta Contact Centre.
- Will be expected to spend time at each site as required every week.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Manage new business transitions, performance improvement initiatives and technology implementations across the contact centres as per the program of work
- Establish and oversee the management of project objectives, plans and actions against business projects specifically related to the Contact Centres.
- Ensure the required program processes (issues, risks, reporting and costs) are identified and being consistently applied across the project.
- Identify and engage with key business stakeholders, including facilitation of relevant project working groups.
- Liaise with the program scheduler to ensure the project timelines are up to date and report slippages to the Transformation Program Manager outlining the slippage implications and remediation actions in place to reduce slippages.
- Provide regular progress and status reports to the Transformation Program Manager.
- Manage issues and risks ensuring that all issues are maintained in Program Issues register.
- The Project Manager will report directly to the Transformation Program Manager of the Contact Centre Program of Work.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- 10+ years PM experience within contact centres, preferably across build and construction
- 10+ years PM experience managing new service transitions into contact centres
- Significant experience with project management roles across  construction, civil engineering projects.
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills, planning and organising skills.
