PROJECT MANAGER (AGILE) - BELGIUM
LANGUAGES: FRENCH with ENGLISH and/or DUTCH
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- People manager with bridge making skills, with the ability to build 1 team composed of all relevant parties
- More than 5 years within relevant sector/technology
- Several years of relevant experience in project management using Prince2 and/or PMBOK and with agile development methodologies such as:
- eXtreme Programming
- Scrum
- Kanban
- Experience in leading an agile team of 5 to 10 people
- Basic knowledge of architecture, design, development and testing
- Ability to understand technical issues at a higher level
- Strong analytical insight with the ability to define the scope of the project
- Continuously develop yourself to keep up with the latest developments and trends within agile methodologies, project management and IT in general
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- Ensure that the project goes forward and identify and remove obstacles for the team
- Help the team to organize themselves and ensure the team works on agile principles
- Monitor project risks and clean up blocking issues
- Plant the necessary meetings with the client and report regularly on the progress of the project
- Organize and facilitate project schedules, reviews, retrospectives, stand-up meetings, sprints and release schedules
- SPOC and prioritize the development work
- Support the developers in applying the proper engineering practices to be productive and qualitative
- Track the progress of the team and consult with the parties involved in the project
- Look for process improvements
- Actively follow discussions and resolving conflicts
- Follow up appointments with any subcontractors.
- Pro-actively evaluate project risks and take the necessary measures
