PROJECT MANAGER (BANKING)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking PROJECT MANAGER to lead the project in the Securities area. The project is to implement efficiencies and improve process to ensure that the bank has a robust and scalable process to meet regulatory requirements in 2017. The processes impacted are within the Group Operations areas as well as some Front Office lending departments. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Managing all aspects of a project which include project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
- Providing transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of project deliveries
-Coordinating different activities on the project, facilitate workshops and discussions
-Managing scheduling of cross team dependencies, environment use, test activities, deployments and post implementation activities
-Collating and managing RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs
-Translating key strategies into goals and objectives
You must possess:
-proven track record in project management within a financial institution across various business domains and with large teams, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
-experience in managing whole project life cycles (software projects)
-knowledge of custody and safekeeping accounts and previous experience managing regulatory projects
