Project Manager - AV Transformation Programe

PROJECT OR ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

- Approx .50 Europe sites in scope for transition. Work closely with the Global AV Transition PM on these transition activities;
- Drive the identification of the new contract owners within ITSO;
- Forming the local working groups at each sites with representative from all stakeholder (SRE,IT,Finance etc.) and define the roles and responsibilities to complete the transitions successfully.
- Develop and maintain a project plan, ensuring alignment with the relevant goals, objectives;
- Follow the agile methodology and incorporate agile ways of working;
- Gather and document site level AV issues and challenges. Report out issues/challenges to the AVDO/ET SOM. Interface between AVDO and SRE/IT;
- Liaise with SRE/IT to ensure that there are support materials in each room which has AV;
- Be an ambassador of AV in ITSO and promote/help embed good ways of working (ie championing support instructions in every room with AV);
- Work with the organisation's Real Estate and ITSO stakeholders, at various levels in the organization, to complete the transition and remediation activities;
- Liaise with SRE/IT to ensure that there are support materials in each room which has AV;
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders and communicate out progress;
- Manage activities, deliverables and relationships with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met;
- Lead the remediation Projects for the selected sites Americas region;
- Work closely with AVDO and Collaboration Portfolio teams to ensure that remediation for sites are carried out as per the global AVDO standards;
- Working with Global AV vendors for obtaining the quotes for remediation;
- Develop materials/clear messaging/presentations to help stakeholders understand what is required/how they can help set up for success;
- Regular Project Progress update to the Global AV Transformation Programme.

TECHNICAL SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

- 5 years + of project management experience in large global organisations;
- Experience in Oil
- PMP or equivalent certified;
- Agile awareness- Scrum master certification desirable;
- Strong excel skills - be able to merge various data extracts which are in different formats, and distil this information into clear concise communications for stakeholders and programme lead;
- Proactively analyse variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments;
- Identify early signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately;
- Experience in IT infrastructure Projects and Audio Visual technologies used on Office environment.

SOFT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Virtual working with stakeholders distributed globally;
- Ability to build good relationship with stakeholders at different levels/different parts of the organization;
- Must be proactive and self-motivated;
- Previous experience working in an agile environment;
- Able to work in a local/global Matrix environment coordinating the overall transition of AV from SRE to ITSO;
- A high degree of skill in written and oral communications;
- Within a limited time horizon, be able to plan and prioritize own work effectively;
- Be able to work in a fast moving, diverse environment with potentially very different working practices;
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
