Project Manager/Agile Coach

We have an exciting opening for a PROJECT MANAGER/AGILE COACH position with our progressive client in the Columbia, SC area.

This is a 12 MONTH CONTRACT position with an great opportunity for EXCELLENT BENEFITS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Facilitate Daily Standup meetings
- Organize and schedule all ceremonies related to Agile.
- Work with the Agile coach to continuously improve processes.
- Keep Jira updated and monitor each sprint start and end dates.
- Provide guidance to the teams on best practices.
- Work with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to ensure readiness of tasks in each Sprint.
- Planning and helping with Agile testing and other quality assurance activities.
- Other related activities.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- MUST HAVE CSM CERTIFICATION (CERTIFIED SCRUM MASTER)
- Five years of Agile SDLC
- Strong understanding of Agile
- Strong servant leadership acumen skills and experience
- Skilled in leading teams, motivating people and building relationships in complex project environments.
- Experience with IT SDLC and familiar with current software technologies
- Business and management experience
- Superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to give presentations to executive management. Strong proficiency in English is required.
- Impeccable integrity. This project will have very high visibility and will impact significant expenditures of public funds. Candidates must be confident with their abilities to make correct decisions and the courage to speak out when necessary.
- Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis.
- Agile, waterfall, SDLC, PLC.
