PROJECT MANAGER ADVISOR, BANKING, BRUSSELS
The Banks technical teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. They deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that doesn't compromise production stability and to ensure applicative production support.
THE CHOSEN CANDIDATE ROLE IS:
To support the department in achieving its main objectives ie delivering key projects on time, scope, quality and costs, reducing our costs and developing our human capital, a Project Leader Competency Centre has been created.
Role involves acting as the guardian and the promoter of the Project Management mandatory best practices, workflows, processes, discipline and techniques.
To participate to a certain number of missions aiming at collecting, improving, developing best practices in the Project Management area such as Planning, Cost Management, Deliverables Management, Change Management, Risks and Issues Management, Governance, .... In that context, you will drive the continuous improvement process in close collaboration with your colleagues and with the Project leaders community. You will develop and coordinate the roll-out of these practices and advise the Project leaders on the different aspects of the methodology and on Project Management processes.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- You have a strong experience in Project Management or in Project Support Office-related activities
- You have a proven track record of results, experience in applying Project Management methodology is an asset
- You have the ability to develop and sell best practices, you can engage and influence Project Leaders
- You create good relationships with the Project leaders, you are a good listener
- You can organise/accomplish work efficiently and autonomously, seeking advice/support and escalating when necessary
- You have very good communication skills both in face-to-face discussions and in front of a big audience.
- You have a cultural openness and adaptability,you are pragmatic and have the capacity to keep things simple.
- You have a practical experience of Change Point
- Languages: English is essential - French would be a plus
You must be an EU national to apply for this role.
Duration: 6 months extendable
Rate: 550-600 Euros per day
Languages: English and French
