PROJECT MANAGER

Randstad professionals are looking to find a responsible and open minded candidate who adds value to our client's team. Our client is an international pharmaceutical company.

MAIN TASKS

Solution Integration & Services (SIS) is a critical contributor and enabler of our client's divisional aspiration to realize the connected core lab, and to provide integrated diagnostics information anywhere, anytime. For the two programs Cyber Security Improvement Program and Dia Common Assets, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f), who will work 50%, of his/her time in each program. You have the opportunity to join two multinational teams, managing the continuous improvement of our current key workflow lab automation systems. Below both programs together with the responsibilities are explained:

1. Cyber Security Improvement Program:

Considering the increasing importance and criticality of product cyber security, the client's Leadership Team has decided to launch the a wide Cyber Security Improvement Program to enhance cyber security measures related to our products and solutions, under the mandate of SIS to establish and provide the respective standards and governance. For this the Cyber Security Improvement Program will run a set of change management projects for setting technical standards, redefine processes, run communication-, awareness-, campaigns, distribute Cyber Security Best Practices and run a set of technical and non-technical Pilot Projects in various initiatives.This program will enable the Business Areas to comply with Cyber Security requirements and customer expectations with the outcome to become prepared being a leader in digital health and enable a secure digital transformation of the company. The roles mission is to identify, manage- estimate and align costs, prioritize, coordinate projects and subproject engaged with the Cyber Security Improvement Program implementation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assumes responsibility for Program execution and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Serves the Program as a formal Centre of Excellence in Program/Project Management Methodology
- Supports definition and management of Program/Project Governance processes and procedures
- Owns definition and implementation of Program/Project Management Processes
- Provides dedicated assistance to the Program Lead, Manages scope, schedule, and budget at program level (consolidating input from Sub-Project Leads)
- Provides centralized management of program changes, risk tracking, issue resolution, and decision making and handles all related documentation
- Prepares solid fact base for decision making at Program LT, OC and SC level
- Conducts Program level reporting function (consolidating input from Sub-Project Leads)
- Oversees and provides direction and guidance to individual Sub-Project Leads on all Project Management and execution matters w/o directly managing any individual Project components personally

2. Dia Common Assets team:

The platform of our client's team is developing software kits for their diagnostic instruments software projects. Within the instrument assets program, the OS engineering team is providing tailored and hardened operating system images (Windows and Linux) according to the requirements of their internal projects. The DevOps team is providing tool chains for building, testing and monitoring along the software development process in collaboration with software engineering teams. Additionally they manage the interaction with the IT organization which provides the underlying IT infrastructure. In this role you will be collaborating with two project leaders and assume delegated tasks from them in collaboration with the product owners. This is an excellent opportunity to support and manage a complex environment by successfully applying your Agile Project Management, Communications and Stakeholder Management skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You support the project setup (eg project start form, scope management, stakeholder management), project planning, project implementation, progress- & cost control, and project closure
- You manage project information to support project teams (eg project steering board, etc.) and decision-making
- You handle Project- and Management meetings (organize project meetings, set agenda, edit and distribute minutes)
- You guide, manage and track preparation for program milestone reviews and manage the preparation of the consolidated program status Reports
- You define and implement reports including key performance indicators (KPIs) for the program to enable teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness
- You enable and support Program Risk Management
- You provide aligned and common communication structure

WORK/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION

- 5 or more years of experience in IT, Product, Project- and Program Management across different Businesses, Functions, Sites and Countries and addressing complex technical and non-technical topics at various management levels
- Proven experience and DEEP UNDERSTANDING IN TECHNICAL PROGRAM PROJECT ASPECTS
- Project management certification (eg IPMA, PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage
- DEMONSTRATED ABILITY IN IMPLEMENTING COMPLEX IT AND CYBER SECURITY RELATED PROJECTS (IoT, Embedded, Safety Critical Products, Digital- Cloud and Big Data- Platforms)
- Experience in effectively managing cross-functional virtual teams, influencing key stakeholders including senior managers across complex industries
- STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL, METHODOLOGICAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Experience in PRODUCT MANAGEMENT AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
- Basic Know-how in Information Technology, Product and Cyber Security
- Knowledge in modern IT ENVIRONMENTS LIKE CLOUD BASED SERVICES AND DEVOPS ENVIRONMENTS
- Understanding in product life cycle management and digital supported services

SOFT SKILLS

- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Self-leadership and self-reflection abilities
- An agile mindset
- Willingness to travel 20 to 40% of your time
