Junior Project Manager - Retail Banking - Manchester- £280-320 per day

We have been engaged by a retail banking business who are looking for a junior project manager to deliver a variety of retail banking change projects and workstreams.

Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the lead project manager in delivery of change projects/workstreams
- Co-ordinate and manage a variety of workstreams
- Liaise with risk, regulatory and compliance teams
- Develop change methods, tools, standards and governance
- Weekly planning, reporting and RAID logs
- Ensure regulatory requirements are in place and adhered to
- Project initiation, scoping, planning, testing and hand over to BAU
- Co-ordination and management of internal and external resource
- Ensure delivery on budget, to time frames and expectations
- Programme reporting, issue resolution and interdependency management

It is imperative that those who apply have excellent:

- Project management experience
- A background in retail banking or other financial services is highly desirable
- Innovative problem solving skills
- The ability to command a high level of governance within the project through a variety of reporting and checkpoints

This is an initial 6 month interim role based in Manchester, paying £280-320 per day.
