Project Manager

Modis are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract based in Plymouth managing a test system re-development programme. The client works within the Electronics industry, working on Gyroscopes and Inertial Sensors within the Aerospace, Automotive & Transportation and Consumable Electronics.

The successful candidate will have come from a hands on engineering role in the past and will have recent project manager experience within an electronics development environment.

Requirements
- Delivery of projects to time and cost
- Drive and achievement to realise plans (including milestone achievement, SPI, CPI, risk and opportunity management)
- Monthly project reporting and accountability for financial performance.
- Risk and opportunity management
- Managing and building effective internal and external relationships

Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified or with equivalent relevant experience
- PMI/APM qualified or with equivalent relevant experience
- Chartered Engineer an advantage
- Proven project delivery experience within an electronics development environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
