Project Manager

Our client are a leading provider of HV engineering solutions who are quickly becoming one of the UK's fastest growing organisations.

Due to continued growth they now require a number of Project Managers to oversee the Pre Delivery and Delivery of HV projects across various work streams for cabling, overhead lines (OHL) and substations. Ideally you will be civil, electrical, or mechanically biased and be familiar with the intricacies of the Transmission & Distribution project life cycle.

MAIN DUTIES:

The Project Manager will play an integral part of the clients every day life, as such you will be responsible for Coordinating the activities of clients and internal departments during the pre-delivery phase to allow projects to commence to construction meeting the required time scales, safety, quality and environmental standards.

- Establish a portfolio programme of works and manage the various department interfaces to deliver such works
- Procure and complete site investigation works to allow completion of Engineering Designs
- Coordinate completion of Environmental Impact Assessments and communicate findings to all relevant parties
- Coordinate planning consents and provide support and information to assist. Communicate findings and impacts to affected departments

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Chartered Engineer or working towards this
- Knowledge of Transmission Operator, REC or DNO health & safety requirements and technical compliance
- IOSH Managing Safely (or similar)
- Contract Management (FIDIC, NEC etc)
