PROJECT MANAGER

My client, a major defence company in Scotland, is looking for a Project Manager to join them on an initial 6-12 month basis to start ASAP.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Strong construction/engineering background with a deep understanding of construction processes.
- Proven background managing project performance.
- Experience managing and delivering large scale projects.
- Superb stakeholder management.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Marine/Defence industry experience would be ideal.
- APM or other Project Management qualifications.

DAY TO DAY ROLE:

As Project Manager you will be responsible for general project delivery including reporting against KPI's and CSR's, risk and opportunity management, cost control, planning and budgeting and resource planning and management. Within this you will assume responsibility for the development of comprehensive, integrated management plans, consistently reporting and presenting progress to relevant senior management and stakeholders.

RATE: £40 - £50 per hour

LOCATION: Edinburgh

LENGTH: 6 - 12 months
