Project Manager

Harvey Nash is looking for a Project Manager for a 12 month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a candidate operating the Project Office for the NSLF IT workstream.

You are responsible for
- the maintenance of the project plan in Oracle Primavera in alignment with respective project managers
- aligning with corresponding planners on the construction project
- providing reports on milestones, resources, costs etc.
- providing sophisticated status reports
- Planning, directing and co-ordinating the operations of a business, division, department or operating unit
- Planning and maintaining systems and procedures for operating efficiency
- Managing staff for optimum performance
- Managing one or more high-level, complex non-technical projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements
- resource allocation and all phases of development life cycle (ie feasibility study, requirements, analysis, ROI, business plan, design, testing, and implementation planning)
- Coordinating and directing the activities of project team members
- Ensuring all project requirements and/or objectives are documented
- Obtaining and managing external resources required for project completion

Requirements

- seniority required in order to communicate with senior management
- deep IT knowledge required in order to communicate with senior IT managers
- excellent communication skills required in order to align with non-IT disciplines (eg civil construction, commissioning etc.)
- expertise in running medium to large scale projects
- excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures
- experience with project management and analyst methodologies and best practices; strong analytical skills
- business process development best practices, change management; strong MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills
- understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration
- excellent communication skills to work with cross-program resources
- fluent in German and English
