Project Manager

We are working with a Federal Government organisation to source several Project Managers for contracts until 30 June 2014.

Your project management experience will be vital in pushing critical projects forward to meet tight time frames.

DUTIES:

- Manage the technology development/replacement project using the department's agreed methodology
- Work with clients to develop project management documentation
- Manage request for quote processes for any necessary procurements to support project requirements
- Manage system development timelines and related reporting
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the development of detailed business requirements
- Report to project and/or programme boards as required

SKILLS:

- Evidence of 3 + years experience in managing IT projects
- Strong business, interpersonal, verbal and written communication and consulting skills at all levels
- An appreciation of Government policies on Workplace Diversity, Workplace Participation, and Occupational Health and Safety and the ability to apply and promote them within the workplace.
