Project Manager

Leading Australian Company requires a Junior Project Manager for a permanent 6 Month fix term role for their CBD, Sydney office.

This role will see you project manage company business initiative including management of multiple projects concurrently.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOUR ROLE WILL SEE YOU:

- Project management of business projects, including those with a significant IT component.
- Manage projects according to approved PMO processes and methodology (PMO Framework)
- Prepare and maintain project plans and required planning documents to ensure stakeholders are appropriately informed.
- Manage scope and deliverables against agreed project plans and manage associated delivery risks.
- Coordinate business and technical resources in a Matrix organisation.
- Manage priorities, resolve conflicts, and mitigate project risks.
- Prepare reports and presentation to stakeholders on project status and progress.
- Manage project budgets, suppliers, timelines and contractors to ensure successful delivery of IT projects.
- Build strong working relationship with project sponsor over the life of projects.
- Work with project sponsors in managing key stakeholder relationships & communications.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Experience in project managing IT projects, including stakeholder management.
- A good understanding of business analysis & business solutions/process design.
- Experience in software life cycle & vendor management.
- Relevant experience in business processes (ideally CRM, transactional or financial processes).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and error resolution skills.

This is a 6 month permanent fixed term role with the possibility of an extension. Trains and Buses are 2 mins walk away from the office.
