Project Manager

Link Technologies is currently seeking a Project Manager for a position with a high-profile client in Las Vegas, NV.

- Minimum of five (5) years of project management leadership in a relevant functional or technical field;
- Experience in consolidation of major IT enterprises;
- High level knowledge of infrastructure architecture (Routers, Switches, Servers, WAN);
- Familiarity with problems/solutions relating to obsolescent hardware and software;
- Successful project team experience on a similar type project;
- Experience with project scheduling and work planning tools;

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate between multiple agencies and project teams;

- Working knowledge of industry accepted methodologies, policies, standards, procedures and practices.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED

- Experienced in consolidation of major IT enterprises in the public sector.
- Familiarity with security protocols related to the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) managed by the FBI.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant discipline.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) certification or higher.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Design integration plan to incorporate IT personnel (approximately 50 staff) and aging infrastructure of the Client into the Enterprise IT Services, in the client centralized IT organization.  The initial focus will be on replacement of out-of-service hardware and software with optimized replacements in the State data center.  Also, integration of the on-going plan for replacement with client.
