Project Manager

OVERVIEW

Dell is currently working with a major financial and investment business based in Canary Wharf London. The current project requires an experienced and skilled Citrix Project Manager who is both, deeply knowledgeable regarding Citrix and its ability to provide desktop virtualisation and networking capabilities to a major financial organisation, as well as being able to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders within the business.

THE ROLE

Your role will encompass the management and delivery of end to end Citrix projects ensuring all elements are rolled out smoothly, to this end you will engage with the business to fully understand the requirements, developing effective relationships and on-going management, while also defining deliverables, resource requirements and managing the development and delivery.

Responsibilities will also include the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project, working with various business people and technical teams across all levels. The Project Manager will report on progress, risk and issues, plans and other metrics as required by program colleagues. The Project Manager works closely with stakeholders within Dell and the customer ensuring scope, P&L and reporting needs are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities expected to be delivered by the successful Project Manager are as follows:

- Managing Change Control
- Managing Billing and Procurement
- Developing & Managing the Schedule/Schedule
- Producing and updating standard project documentation
- Managing the Project Conflicts
- Managing Risks and Issues
- Business Partnering
- Controlling Quality
- Liaise with programme team to ensure work is neither overlooked nor duplicated by related projects
- Lead and motivate the project management team
- Manage the information flows between the directing and delivering levels of the project
- Manage the production of the required products, taking responsibility for overall progress and use of the resources and initiating corrective action where necessary
- Advise of deviations from the plan to senior management

EXPERIENCE:

- Have experience of working as a Lead Project Manager helping to deliver Citrix based projects
- You will be a successful Project Manager with Prince 2 Practitioner and/or PMP certified
- Extensive service delivery and senior stakeholder management experience will be evidenced
- Display previous experience of managing Business Engagement Managers and communication within the technical team
- Have minimum 2 plus years of experience in a similar role
