Project Manager

One of our key clients is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team for an initial 6 month contract to determine user needs and ensure that business information requirements are continually met. This will involve negotiating with users, the setting out of priorities and the translation of business requirements into IT practicalities, within the limits of pre-determined budgets, time frames and infrastructure constraints.

- Demonstrated experience in the DEPLOYMENT of Windows 7 and Office 2010 within large organisations.
- Preferable demonstrated experience of logistics and schedule management.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of IT applications, acquisition and development projects.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management including negotiating with suppliers and clients for the acquisition and provision of products and services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven history of leading and motivating a team providing technical and implementation services
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management processes
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
